Subaru has unveiled today the Subaru BRZ 2017, the putting to the day of his coupe. Like the Toyota GT86, the aesthetic changes are discrete, despite the fact that the Subaru BRZ 2017 premieres new bumper, and a few optical groups, which for the first time in Subaru have the technology Full LED. The stability control gets a new recalibration and changes the name of the Sport mode to Track, because it is now more permissive.
At the mechanistic level there are new and the engine 2.0 boxer gets changes in the cylinder head, with new valves and camshafts. Also premiering an intake manifold of aluminum and an exhaust manifold of new design, thus moving from 200 to 205 horsepower. In addition, the final development is somewhat shorter, so that the response of the BRZ 2017 will be better. The rear differential Torsen is standard.
For drivers in search of maximum sportiness, the Subaru BRZ 2017 offers the Performance Package, that in the united States can partner to finish the highest (Limited) in the version with manual change. The pack includes a kit of Brembo brakes of larger size in both axes, Sachs dampers and specific alloy wheels 17″ in black color.
In the united States the first units will not arrive until the September, while to reach the BRZ 2017 with Performance Package will have to wait to winter. In Europe we do not know the dates of launch of the Subaru BRZ 2017, or whether to apply all of these changes.
