In the Hall of New Delhi Maruti Suzuki, the indian subsidiary of the brand, has introduced an interesting compact SUV. This is the Suzuki Vitara Brezza, that despite its name, has nothing to do with the Suzuki Vitara that we tested in the Present Engine. This is a SUV B-segment whose body has a length of 4 meters, 1,79 meters wide and 1.64 in height. It is, therefore, 18 inches shorter than the Vitara conventional.
What is undeniable is the similar aesthetic between the two SUVS. The Suzuki Vitara Brezza own the successful design features of its bigger brother, managing to look sporty at the same time robust. Is available with nine body colors and in addition features a series of customization packs that will allow to differentiate between the crowded traffic of the indian cities. The alloy wheels are 16″.
The Suzuki Vitara Brezza will be a model exclusive to India, produced locally in Gurgaon. It will not come to other markets as it has not been designed with export in mind. In fact, although it may have elements such as cruise control, climate control, rear parking camera, or a multimedia device with various connectivity options, includes only a driver airbag series. It expects a sales volume of 120,000 units per year.
The mechanical is in charge of Fiat and its engine 1.3 diesel with 90 horsepower of power and 200 Nm of maximum torque at 1,750 revs. It’s only available in a configuration of two-wheel-drive with front-wheel drive and with a manual gear change of five relations. Later also be placed on the market a variant with a gasoline engine.
