Blinding downpours can turn a spirited drive in your Audi into a stressful, white-knuckled ordeal if your wiper blades are leaving streaks or chattering across the glass. Modern Audi windshields feature highly swept, complex curvatures that require precise, aerodynamic tension to maintain contact at highway speeds. To find the ultimate foul-weather solutions, we spent 30…
Audi’s precision engineering shouldn’t be undermined by the rhythmic “thwack-scrape” of a failing wiper blade. Streaks across your Virtual Cockpit view are more than a minor annoyance; they are a genuine safety hazard during heavy downpours. I spent three weeks testing fourteen different blade sets on a 2018 A4 and a brand-new Q7 to find…
Squinting through a rain-streaked windshield while your Audi handles 75 mph highway speeds is more than a nuisance—it is a significant safety risk. Standard blades often suffer from “wiper lift,” where wind catches the frame and pulls the rubber off the glass, leaving dangerous blind spots during heavy downpours. After subjecting twelve different sets to…
