The calendar of the Formula E 2016-17 is not approved

The FIA has not approved the proposed calendar for the Formula E for the season 2016-17 during the World Council of the Motor held in the Italian city of Turin. As was already concocting lies, the excess of the ambition of the promoter of the category electric the massive inclusion of cities and new events confirmed or yet to be committed has led to the maximum regulatory body of motorsports to slow down this provisional calendar. A setback remarkable if we take into account that ‘Season Three’ of the Formula E will start in principle in the first half of October, in little more than three months.

In this aspect, the category directed by Alejandro Agag had drawn up an ambitious plan to include races in cities that still have not received an ePrix of Formula E as it is the case of Brussels, Montreal and New York, to which we must add the return of Monaco when you have a contract for the seasons alternate. To all these new would add up to three new events with Marrakech as one of the favorites to host one of these ePrix. All in all, the calendar mutarĂa complete with seven ePrix new of the eleven that make up the proposal, amen of the race ‘virtual’ in Las Vegas.

The margin of the calendar, which will have to be revised extensively, and that could even be back to welcome in its midst an ePrix in London, what is certain is that the World Council of the Motor itself that has approved certain changes to the category of single-seaters-electric. In this aspect emphasizes that only will be awarded one point for the fastest lap of each ePrix in place of the two points that were given until now. The margin of the creation of a Superlicencia for the drivers, has also backed the so-called ‘Power Ramp Dow’, which will limit the power to reach the limit of consumption.
