The conditions of extreme wet that has already led to the delay of the free 3 and the cancellation of the free 2 became much worse in the face of classification. Though to all it was evident that it could not be held in conditions a session as well, in the FIA refused to admit the obvious until after three hours from the beginning of the initial time.

With successive delays of half an hour were extending a ‘agony’ that the pilots and members of the teams were ‘killing’ with fun actions. From demonstrations of ‘break dance’ on the part of a mechanic from Force India or a career in boxes, going through choreographed dances between Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat, or even an image which has not left anyone indifferent: Carlos Sainz and Jos Verstappen, parents of Carlos and Max, respectively, are mounted in the cars of their children dressed with two monkeys of Toro Rosso.

beyond the moments of humor, the most unfortunate aspect of the situation has forced the classification is disputed on Sunday, a few hours before the race, as confirmed by 16:00 (local time), 23:00h (Spanish time). The last precedent of something similar was in Japan 2010, when a typhoon swept through Suzuka and forced it to slow the ‘pole’ to the Sunday, also after a few hours of ‘excitement’. In case you do not celebrate this Sunday because the rain was not of a truce, it will be good times of FP3, in which case it will be Lewis Hamilton the man from the pole.
