Visually this conceptual work is presented with a five-door body , with handles of hidden backdoors into the C-pillar and an exterior finish in blue tones that invite to think that it is an electric car. But under the hood, the D-Base hides an engine block three-cylinder 666 cc engine, which is associated with a CVT automatic transmission.

However, the Daihatsu D-Base technology features aimed at improving energy efficiency. That is why it is equipped with a system of regenerative braking , a well-lightweight body and tires low rolling resistance, allowing it to achieve fuel consumption around 3 liters 100 kilometers .

The interior is presented with a simple finish, which is also dominated by shades of blue.
