PSA remains committed to its sub-premium DS. To make it more attractive to consumers, the French manufacturer will offer more and more alternatives and mechanical equipment for their cars. Thus, the DS 5, the largest model in the catalog, receives a new mechanical combination with the diesel engine 1.6 BlueHDI 120 horses associated with the automatic gearbox torque converter and six-speed EAT6.
The BlueHDI 120 HP is the engine access to the range by price and the least powerful. Already been offered with manual change of six speeds, but what is new is the automatic gearbox. In this combination the DS 5 gets to approve a reduced average consumption of 4.1 litres 100 km and CO2 emissions of 108 grams per kilometer. The engine features Stop & Start as standard.
This new mechanic is only available in the two finishes intermediate range, Desire and Style. The first already includes 7″ touch screen for the multimedia computer, rear parking sensors, rear-view mirrors-folding-electric, alloy wheels 17″, cruise control and limiter, or rain sensors and lights. The finished Style adds wheels 18″, parking sensor front, roof, cockpit with three zones of glass or the DS Connect Box, with eCall and call for assistance.
The finishing Desire you can opt for the roof cockpit and the DS Connect Box, while in the Style it is possible to equip the LED headlights, head-up display, keyless entry and start and assistant of involuntary change of lane with lights short-long automatic. The starting price for the Spanish market is of 32.150 euro without discounts or promotions.
