The Autosport Show every year brings together the multiple personalities of the world of the engine and Zak Brown has been one of the names most requested. The british leader defends the colors of McLaren in Formula 1 and has become the spokesman of the team since his arrival at Woking in the last quarter of 2016.
Brown has returned to insist on the good aspect of the new MP4-32, both at a visual level, as aerodynamic. “we have Just completed the decoration of the car and I think the fans will be excited by your aspect, both technically and visually. We are working on confirming the filing date, will be before the test in Spain, at the end of February. I don’t think that we have chosen a specific date yet, but already we have shown to the boys and girls of McLaren in the factory and we are very excited about our future”, said Zak Brown in the Autosport Show.
And is that every year it creates a huge expectation to see the new cars, but this year the new regulation has raised the uncertainty to a level unimaginable. “When you change the rules, implies that someone will advance you to the world and others will go a step behind. The cars will be very fast, look great and are going to look more beast-like with these spoilers, and wider tires”.
the performance of The new Honda engine, that has changed its architecture to try to win power and get closer to their rivals, it seems quite promising, and Brown is very excited about it. “We have seen the aerodynamic, painted very well, and the reports of power are good, it is a great progress. Eric Boullier (Sports Director) and John Cooper (Director of Financial and Business) are spending a lot of time in Japan, so the whole world works really well, pressing hard”, concluded the General Director of McLaren.
