The Opel Mokka X saw the light for the first time in the last Geneva motor show, back in the month of February. The first version of the Opel Mokka appeared in 2012 and, since then, the SUV of the German firm has managed to sell close to 600,000 units. The SUV segment is booming and the small todocamino take over the city, so Opel decided to bet strong with this model.
The Mokka X, compared to its predecessor, it gains in the front view in a more youthful image even though it is also combined with robustness and partially in aggressiveness. In addition, it offers new technologies such as headlights matrix LED, system Opel Eye, the notice of emergency OnStar and improved connectivity thanks to the connection via WiFi, not to mention the central screen of the dashboard.
In the cockpit, highlights the new central console which houses the vast majority of controls in the touch screen which may be 7 or 8 inches. Perhaps you will recall that in the previous generation, the center console was overloaded with buttons and knobs, some of them practically do not use them never. It seems that Opel listened to the complaints of the customers and in this Mokka X, as in their last models presented, has been simplified enough for the knobs on the dashboard.
The new Opel Mokka X is already in production and yesterday came out the first drive of the plant Spanish Figueruelas, Zaragoza. The unit has been matched to a Mokka X with engine 1.4 petrol and 150 hp, automatic and four-wheel drive. Will go to Austria, where its owner will enjoy this car in orange and amber and a equipment of the most complete.
The German brand has planned to release 29 new models to the market between 2016 and 2020, let’s hope that the factory Spanish receive the production of some models, since it would increase the direct and indirect employment in the surrounding area.
