The Honda Civic Tourer Type R became a reality thanks to Synchro Motorsport

The Honda Civic Type R is only officially available in the compact version, but the guys of Synchro Motorsport have managed to create a Civic Tourer Type R. The body family the Civic has received a transplant and direct all components of the variant Type R to become the Tourer faster than exists.

vehicles of family court also have the right to equip mechanical interesting. Many manufacturers limit the access of the more powerful engines only for sedans, while at the other end of the scale we have others that only offers this in the body family, as is the case of the Audi RS6 Avant.

This one-off has received the block 2.0 VTEC Turbo the Civic Type R that sends 310 HP and 400 Nm maximum torque to the wheels of the front axle through a manual change of six speeds. Also adopts the rims of the compact sporty in size 19 inch with tyres 235/35 R19. The braking system is responsible Brembo with perforated discs of 350 mm and four-piston calipers. The scheme of suspensions of the Type R has also been well received.

As not, your body has also adapted the aerodynamic kit at the front and adapted on the side and the back is painted a shade matte black. At the back we see the attractive exit quad exhaust and the huge diffuser but miss the large rear spoiler fixed that it seems that it did not have a sufficient basis to be placed. While its cabin has also been adapted consequently with the seats Type R and the details in red.

In terms of performance, Synchro Motorsport has not been pronounced, but we give it for granted that are very similar to those of the compact: 0 to 100 km/h in for 5.7 seconds and 270 km/h maximum.

For the moment Honda has not released the Civic Tourer, Type R and it does not seem that your development is in your plans, least now that you’ve begun to see the first prototype of the tenth generation.
