a month Ago we heard a story of a small and exclusive Swedish manufacturer. In Koenigsegg were looking for an expert pilot in a particular circuit: Nürburgring. The purpose of this search was to try to beat the record of the tracing-board of the Koenigsegg One:1. After this announcement, the supercar has been seen recently rolling by the circuit which recently announced the removal of speed limits.
With free reign of the ‘Green Hell’, the guys from Koenigsegg will be testing there the rest of the year. Although its primary objective was not to beat the record, questions were raised that perhaps the One:1 would be at the height of this challenge. Could last several months, as they have decided to not roll on the days open to the public and only have reserved the track one or two days a month. In the meantime we can enjoy the video that certifies their presence in the Ring.
admittedly, it is a delight to see the Koenigsegg One:1 flying in the circuit. Demands respect with a roar predominant flying through some of the most famous parts of the Nürburgring. Its mechanics it is a V8 5.0-liter that develop 1.360 CV of power. Other data differential of the model is its weight, also of 1.360 kg and getting the round figure of the weight/power ratio of 1 HP per kilo.
in Addition to what we can see in standing, where it displays its details in carbon fiber, highlighting its huge rear wing or the elements of the aerodynamic of the front. Still we do not know which rhythm will be rolling the Koenigsegg One:1 or if you will be able beat the 6 minutes and 57 seconds the Porsche 918 Spyder. We will be watching to see if from here to the end of the year we get news of a new lap record at the Nürburgring.
