Also with your purchase came a driving program aimed at improving the driving skills of users. Well, the McLaren P1 GTR Driver Programme, has begun at the Circuit de Catalunya, in Barcelona.
this experience has totaled seven owners of the P1 GTR that had the opportunity to have all of the experience of McLaren on track. This includes training in the simulator (the same as that used by Fernando Alonso) and provides the customer with a complete team of engineers, pilots and mechanics. Among them is the head of testing, Chris Goodwin.
Paul Mckenzie, Executive Director of MSO, said that “No two riders are the same, and this program is made to measure for each set of skills, with our team of professionals who work in close collaboration with the drivers. This ensures that the programme is adjusted accordingly to allow get the best of each driver and each vehicle.”
The McLaren P1 GTR is powered by the V8 twin-turbo 3.8-liter located in a central position. With the support of an electric motor, and reaches a total power of 1000 HP. we must add To this the use of the DRS that works like a Formula 1 and an active aerodynamic which allows a step-by-curve even faster.
