The second generation of the Chery QQ will arrive to the argentine market this month. Is bigger and features a new three-cylinder engine and 1.0 liter with 69 horsepower.
Con something of delay with regard to other international markets, Chery prepares in Argentina, the launch of the new generation of the QQ, a model that was renewed in the mid of the year 2013. In its second generation, the small urban chinese won visual improvements, while retaining its main qualities of style.
The new Chery QQ has a livability improved thanks to its larger dimensions. It measures 3.56 m long, 1.62 m wide and 1.52 m high and has a wheelbase of 2.34 m, which has not been modified with respect to the model which it replaces. At the mechanistic level there is also a novelty, since it premiered a new propellant with block of three cylinders, 1.0 liter of displacement, 12-valve, that produces 69 horsepower with 93 Nm of torque, which is associated with a manual change of five marches.
although it is not defined which will be the equipment to Argentina, you can assume that you retain the features of the current model. Among its standard equipment are expected as mandatory brakes ABS with EBD, dual airbags front and power steering. In addition, according to the versions available air conditioning, lift glasses electric, central locking with remote control, power mirrors, fog lights, and alloy wheels.
Their arrival in the argentine market is planned for the second half of the month of December, in principle, as the model of the previous generation, imported from China. However, from 2017 the new QQ will begin to arrive from Brazil, where the chinese brand is already producing.
The brazilian plant of Chery has a production capacity of 50 thousand units per year, which they hope to raise up to 150 units from 2018.
