At the time of launch, the new Type 2016 will be available in two special editions to commemorate its arrival to the market, called Opening Edition and Opening Edition Plus.
Fiat surprised everyone in Italy by announcing a starting price quite lower than the one it has in Turkey, as the new Fiat Type Opening Edition equipped with 1.4-liter engine is offered with a price that, thanks to the promotions is located in the 12.500 €. Away from the family model of emotional profile based on the 500, the new Fiat Type is the first representative of a new family of products that will have a rationality as the main axis.
Fiat Type Opening Edition mounts an engine 1.4-liter with 95 HP. Its endowment serial includes six airbags, ABS brakes with EBD, electronic stability control ESP, wizard for starting on a hill, automatic climate control, sensor backward, raises crystals and power mirrors. Besides it counts with alloy wheels of 16 inches and fog lamps. As optional are the lumbar adjustment of the seat, rain sensor and power automate headlights and spare wheel of normal size.
Opening Edition Plus in both sum infotainment system with 5-inch screen, Uconnect, and navigation system TomTom 3D, steering wheel coated in leather, cruise control speed and camera of retreat, and alloy wheels of 17 inches, among the most notable. This finish is offered only with an engine turbo diesel Multijet with a block of 1.6 liters and 120 horsepower.
