The Detroit Motor Show has opened its doors and it can know many firsts both globally and nationally. Here we introduce a purely American product and is that new Nissan Titan presented today will only be available for the Yankee market and does premiering an expected Cummins diesel engine 5.0 V8 with 310 hp [1999006 ] which places it at the top of this segment, a segment that prevails in the United States.
By the time the Japanese manufacturer has just introduced the Nissan Titan XD , reserving much information for after the prestigious event as the model presented is only one version of the large family that is coming. A family will receive gasoline engines V6 and V8 configuration and drive or all-wheel drive, and several trim levels and new or improved features such as the Around View Monitor, which makes life easier when driving with a trailer.
Speaking of towing, the new Nissan Titan XD properly equipped with Cummins diesel V8 associated with a six-speed automatic transmission is capable of towing up [1999006 ] 12,000 pounds, that is, some 5.443 kg while the payload is 2,000 pounds, about 907 pounds. Note that the new Cummins V8 engine is available only for the Titan XD version. This engine of 5.0 liters develops an output of 310 hp and maximum torque of 752 Nm.
The new generation of the Nissan Titan has a redesigned look and a new interior trim options and a better finish than last generation. For now we only know the Nissan Titan Crew Cab XD, although there will be versions with King Cab and Single Cab. Of course we will also see Nissan Titan with different lengths , thus providing greater modularity and cargo space.
