The variant more sporty than the current generation of Mégane has just been presented at the Frankfurt motor show 2017. After the first images and information now the time has come to look at the new Renault Mégane RS 2018 in action.
Andl Frankfurt Auto show 2017 marked the official debut of the new generation the Renault Mégane RS, the version of the sport compact French, which premieres a turbo engine with 280 HP of power.
In this new delivery, the Mégane developed by Renault Sport will be only offered with bodywork of five doors. Outwardly however, and a design very aggressive, which includes a front with two large air inlets in the bumper, some LED daytime running lights in the form of a checkered flag and grill honeycomb.

In the interior of the new Renault Mégane 2018 the atmosphere is good racing, thanks to their seating enclosures that may include upholstery in Alcantara and stitching in red color, sports steering wheel and knob shift leather-appointed, pedals in aluminum, in addition to trim and other elements in red color.

In terms of the mechanics, in addition to offering a more powerful engine, now the Megane RS 2018 can be configured with a manual change of six speeds, in addition to the transmission EDC with double clutch and the same number of relations. The engine is a Tec Turbo 1.8-liter that develops 280 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 390 Nm of maximum torque.
