The 7 of march of 1916 began the history of one of the brands with more name within the world of automotive: BMW. To celebrate this 100th anniversary, our friends from BMW Spain have organized a very special exhibition at its headquarters in the Avenida de Burgos (Madrid). It is a review of its history with some of the specimens most representative of the last century.
This company was born as Bayerische Flugzeugwerke AG and started its activity by manufacturing aero-engines. These engines gave good results, and offered reliability, so the aircraft went to the boats and then to the motorcycle.
