Pagani Huayra BC model is the most radical of the small Italian manufacturer. But a great power comes a great responsibility and therefore, this issue was subjected to harsh tests during its development phase. Bosch is the provider of some of their security systems and therefore moved to Arjeplog (Sweden) to test them in extreme conditions.
This region is situated very close to the Arctic Circle, which means temperatures well below zero and peers as the snow and ice. The ABS brakes was one of the points to evaluate, and to do this we performed an emergency braking with the wheels of one side on the pavement and the other on snow. Other systems to prove that they are the ESP and the electronic stability control.
As you can see in the video, they are tested with a risky move that includes several spinning tops on a slippery surface. The engineers are in charge of analyze the data to improve the performance of such systems. So that the conditions are optimal, Bosch is in charge of with water spray the roads to eileen, and then smooth for the tests to be more effective.
And all that 20 units the Pagani Huayra BC are becoming some of the supercars more effective. We recall that this model reaches 800 CV and 1.098 Nm thanks to its biturbo engine V12 of 6.0 liters of source AMG. Although snow and ice do not allow it in this case, the Huayra BC is able to make the 0-100 km/h in less than 3.3 seconds and has a maximum speed of over 370 km/h.
