The ‘Saab’ 9-3 from NEVS debuts in conceptual

The new Saab 9-3 and Saab 9-3X developed by NEVS are ready for its debut at the CES that will be held in Shanghai. They received some exterior modifications which attempt to provide a look more modern.

Poco to little NEVS begins to move to its new stage, with the arrival of the models 9-3 and 9-3x, which for the moment are presented under the format of a prototype.

NEVS (National Electric Vehicle Sweden) is the company that bought the assets of Saab after the bankruptcy of the Swedish firm that occurred at the end of 2011. The original plan of NEVS was to revive Saab, but then faced financial difficulties and losing the rights to use the name Saab, NEVS will bet on the use of its own brand, focusing on electric cars.

The first two models are based on the Saab 9-3 and Saab 9-3X, although they have received some modifications visual that attempt to give a modern touch to the set, bearing in mind that this is a generation that Saab had premiered in the year 2003.

Both models will be electric, with engines developed by NEVS and will have its official debut in the framework of the CES 2017, which will be held in Shanghai in a few days more.

For the moment, there are no technical details about its powertrain, as well as of which will be its autonomy, although will not have to wait too long to know all the details, since its debut is scheduled for on the 7th of June.

His arrival in the chinese market will take place in 2018, although NEVS has already accumulated thousands of orders of some chinese companies.
