The sales of SEAT grew by almost 5% so far this year

SEAT is going through a good time, with their sales figures over the world that have already achieved a growth of 4.9% so far this year. The Leon, Ibiza and Alhambra are your products more successful.

Until last month, the company managed to market 308.400 vehicles, surpassing the to 14,400 units the mark of the same period of the previous year. The company’s sales continue the positive trend initiated in the year 2013, basically driven by the Lion and Ibiza and to a lesser extent, the Alhambra. But in addition, other products such as the Toledo, Mii and Altea are also experiencing a growth in their sales.

Between the months of January and September of this year, sales of SEAT have increased 29.5% in comparison with the same period of 2012. The Lion is currently leading the delivery of the brand, as its sales rose 5.8%, to reach the 122.400 units, which means 6.800 units more than during the first nine months of the previous year. The Leon ST in both consolidates its success with an increase of 34.6%, while the Ibiza progresses 3.3%.

The Alhambra is the third best-selling model in the range, with 19.400 units sold up to September and a growth of 13.7%.

The production in the plant of Martorell grew 10% during the first nine months of the year compared with the same period of the previous year, reaching the 360.300 units, which, in turn, means that 2015 is already the year with the higher production figures since 2002.

Germany is the biggest market for the brand, this year with a growth of 4.8%. In Spain in the meantime, the brand grew by 17.8%, while sales in Italy had an increase of 24.7% in the last year.

Jürgen Stackmann, Chairman of the Executive Committee of SEAT, has shown its satisfaction for the way in which the sales of the brand have been progressing. In that sense said that the brand has been growing steadily since the year 2013, thanks to the positive evolution of all models and a wider range.
