The 24 Hours of Spa is the quote queen of the Blancpain GT
Series and the Endurance Cup, so that the promoter of the contest has been
in the obligation to ask a series of requirements at the time of form part of the
grill in the Pro class. In this aspect, the rules of the Blancpain GT indicate
that a brand and/or team must have two cars that played the season
complete the competition and that at least one of them is enrolled in the class
Pro. In this aspect, Nissan and Porsche do not meet these requirements for power
be at the 24 Hours of Spa.
Nissan has two Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 in the Endurance Cup
of the hand of RJN Motorsport, and although both compete in the Pro class, none
of the two is present in the Sprint Cup. For his part, Porsche does not meet
none of the premises since we do not have any car in the Sprint Cup, and even
lacks an entry Pro in the Endurance Cup. In fact, the only Porsche 911 confirmed
is the Herbert Motorsport (Pro-Am), amen of the two units of Roock Racing,
training on the other hand has not confirmed their drivers, and therefore not yet
has your car categorised.
All in all, Nissan and Porsche are ready to be in the 24
Hours of Spa, if they so wish. However, you can access the appointment in
Spa-Francorchamps if they sign a commitment with SRO Motorsport Group ensuring your presence in the four quotes of the Intercontinental GT Challenge,
competition that also includes the 24 Hours of Spa in your calendar. Nissan was
in the 12 Hours of Bathurst, and it seems that will use this pathway to be in Spa,
while Porsche will need to confirm your presence at Sepang and Laguna Seca if
they want to contest the 24 Hours of Spa in the Pro class with two Porsche registered
by Manthey Racing, as is rumored.
