Skoda is giving a high prominence to its new model, the Skoda Kodiaq. The Czech brand has made a significant investment to give birth to its first SUV in which they have placed great hope. Few days ago we showed the first official images of the model without any camouflage, although it would appear only the outside. A few minutes ago, has done exactly the same thing, but in this case with the images of the interior.
Will be presented officially next Thursday, day 1 in Berlin, but we cannot resist to describe what we see on the inside. While there are details such as the panelling of the doors, the steering wheel or the instrument panel to which we are already accustomed within the car firm; the forms of the dashboard, the vents and the insertion of what appears to be imitation wood in the dashboard of the passenger, we are completely new.
dashboard allows us to see that the unit represented in the image corresponds to a mechanical diesel, since the last digit that is represented in the cuentarrevoluc
ion is 6,000 rpm, while the shifter lets us see that it is a manual drive and traction 4×4. For others and to the naked eye, everything seems to fall to the hand of the driver and the touch screen main it seems that is a good height.
on the other hand, we see the second and the third row of seats (optional). In this same image we can see a few Isofix is very easy to access in the second row, wipes on the windows of the rear doors, power outlet 12V on the third row of seats and what seems to be a few knobs to fold the seats from the trunk. In the trunk there are also several hooks for hang small bags or install networks separator to hold load better.
Skoda already informed us some time ago that it will measure 4.7 metres long and its wheelbase will be 2.79 meters. In addition, the boot will have a volume of 720 litres in the versions of five seats, expandable to 2.065 when the second row of seats is lowered. A very positive to the trunk is that the load floor is totally plane from the mouth of filled.
A detail that we could not let pass is that, in the photo where it appears the touchscreen on the centre console, looks slightly the speedometer on the dashboard. The maximum speed which is represented is of 260 km/h, a very high speed for an SUV of aspirations peaceful, could it be that Skoda might have in mind a version of the Skoda Kodiaq with some sportiness?
