Subaru Australia presented in association with Possum Bourne Motorsport to the WRX STi NR4, a car that was homologated to participate in the categories of rally of FIA, but that can’t be used on the public road.

The japanese brand presented in Australia in collaboration with its historical partner in competition with Possum Bourne Motorsport (MUAC), Subaru WRX STi NR4, approved to participate within the category NR4 of the FIA WRC2 and ERC2.
The car has been modified and adapted by MUAC, but can be delivered with various additional modifications on request. There are six packages of options to transform the WRX into a product ready to participate in the category NR4, although it can also be adapted for use on the track.

however the WRX STi NR4 it is not approved to be used on the public road, for which only it is a beautiful toy to have fun within a circuit, either as an amateur or in a professional way. The STi NR4 uses a motor to spec, JDM, a two-liter turbo four-cylinder and 304 horsepower.
WRX STi NR4, shown in the photographs attached to this article correspond to the car-level 1 (tier 1) aimed at amateur runners, that it features an interior lightened, no acoustic insulation or upholstery, which includes race seats, a harness of six points, center console fiberglass, steering wheel competition and retains the panels of the doors.
The General Director of Subaru Australia Nick Senior, said that the attention to detail that has been put GMP in this car is simply amazing. The car is already on sale in Australia, with a price of 38,000 australian dollars, that is about 27.800 $ u.s. at the current exchange rate.
