What could have been a brilliant victory at home has
become a triumph faded ‘Pechito’ Lopez in Termas de Rio Hondo.
Although the argentine had paced more than enough to get through to
Norbert Michelisz, the performance of Citroën Racing giving team orders to their
two pilots has led to some controversy as just after it is produced
several maneuvers as a minimum aggressive. With Muller and Michelisz suffering a
track output, the podium has been completed by Tom Coronel and Rob Huff. The
another local hero, Esteban Guerrieri, finished in sixth position.
Norbert Michelisz was stealing the purse of ‘Pechito’ López in the output, where the argentinian driver was also overtaken by Yvan Muller. This situation forced ‘Pechito’ Lopez to have to move forward on two occasions to his team-mate, which in turn allowed to own Michelisz to win a few metres of advantage. Behind, Esteban Guerrieri was in charge of putting the sauce after winning two positions in the first round-lost in the output by a clutch problem – and fight you to you with Tiago Monteiro, second classified in the championship.
Each attempt to pass of ‘Pechito’ López turned himself against them given that the driver of the Vehicle was nailed after the Honda Civic of Michelisz, which was used by Yvan Muller to find the tickle his companion. A situation which put the final Citroën Racing, every time the brand communicated to their pilots by radio that they would no longer fight. This situation stabilised in the first three positions. Behind the French was Tom Colonel, more concerned with stopping the two Honda Civic’s of Rob Huff and Tiago Monteiro. Esteban Guerrieri for his part, lost my way a little with the Portuguese.
in The end, the race was resolved by the team orders. Yvan Muller was placed in parallel Michelisz and ‘Pechito’, which was distracting to the Hungarian and facilitated the maneuver by the argentine. With ‘Pechito’ Lopez in the lead, Yvan Muller and Norbert Michelisz went to the gravel, wasting both any option to podium. Tom Coronel was the second place followed by Rob Huff and Tiago Monteiro, while Yvan Muller was returning to the track in the fifth position, just ahead of Esteban Guerrieri. For his part, Norbert Michelisz with higher damage on your Honda fell to the eighth square.
With the race at the desired point by Citroën Racing, the fight
for the podium had no greater thrill in the turns the end. ‘Pechito’ Lopez
I got this triumph in the house, before his public. The podium as
completed Tom Coronel and Rob Huff, although the british ended the race
with an open investigation for a possible ‘jump start’, just like Tom
Colonel, who was fourth. Fifth, for his part was ended Muller, while
Esteban Guerrieri managed to keep the sixth position, despite the problems of clutch. The area of points the completed Bennani, Michelisz,
Chilton and Filippi.
