everyone knows that Volkswagen wants to expand its range SUV to all the possible segments. It is true that it has been slow to react to the tastes of the market, and that this offensive SUV is doing to pray, but we must also say that SUV that launches in the market, SUV that turns into a success. This can apply to all brands of the German conglomerate, as the Seat Ateca (last released by VAG) is emerging as a best seller.

One of the segments you want to cover Volkswagen as soon as possible is of the SUV small, or segment B. To this end, taking advantage of that in 2017 there will come the new generation of Polo, the German brand wants to expand the family and include a version any way. This version, comes from the hand of the concept T-Roc and T-Cross Breeze, the latest prototype presented by Volkswagen to advance the image of the family Polo.

Thanks to these prototypes, as the one we have in the images, we can guess how will be the design of the new Volkswagen Polo Crossover. Both the front as the rear you will save a lot of similarities with the T-Roc Concept, as the new Tigual presents a similar design. Thus for the range SUV, the German manufacturer, has certain stylistic consistency, shall submit proportions and lines of similar design.

Structurally, the new model will be based on the shortened version of the MQB platform of the Volkswagen group, the MQB 0. This platform will be the basis of future Ibiza, Polo and Fabia and as the new generation of the Polo is just around the corner, both models should be presented almost simultaneously.

With these data in hand the new Volkswagen Polo Crossover should measure between 4,20 and 4.30 meters, to attack full on Juke, Capture and company. With regards to the range mechanics should mount the blocks diesel and gasoline from Ibiza, Polo and Fabia, focusing on the new block of three cylinders 1.0 TSI and the four-cylinder diesel 1.6 TDI already seen in several models of the German group. As to the gearboxes, we can expect boxes to drive manual and automatic transmission with double clutch VAG.
