After more than a decade with the first generation Volkswagen Touran among us, reaches the Spanish market the new Touran with base price 21,500 euros . The new German van and opens its booking period, although the first units will not reach Spain until the month of September . The new model stands by adopting a more modern design, a roomier interior, more technology and above all, mechanical up to 19% more efficient than before. Reduces its weight by up to 62 kilos.
The seven seats are standard on all versions and even in the third row is ISOFIX. But one of the most interesting innovations of the new Volkswagen Touran is to be a pioneer in the field of advanced infotainment. It will be the first model of the brand to incorporate the system AppConnect with carplay, android auto and MirrorLink allowing full integration with virtually all types of smartphones. The engine range includes the Volkswagen Touran three petrol and three diesel options . In the first case we speak of the 110 hp 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI 150 and 180 hp 1.8 TSI. Diesel completes the range with the 110 hp 1.6 TDI and the 2.0 TDI versions of 150 and 190. All are front-wheel drive and the 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI 150 hp DSG may have, that is the only available with gasoline and diesel engines of 180 and 190 horsepower, respectively. 1.4 can also have DSG.
At the beginning of marketing in the 1.6 TDI will only be available with automatic transmission, the others will arrive in a few months. All engines have Stop & Start and regenerative braking .

The range of finishes of the Touran is structured in three levels called Edition, Advance and Sport . Not all are available in all mechanical configurations. As usual at Volkswagen, the number of options available is important, with elements such as adaptive cruise control, keyless entry and start, parking assistance, blind spot warning or assistant lane departure, among many others.
In the launch phase Volkswagen will offer more equipment without cost at all three levels. The gain Edition alloy wheels 16 “, fog lamps, radio Media Composition and front center armrest. The Advance, reversing camera, Trizone climate control, radio Media Composition and multifunction steering wheel, while the Sport panoramic sunroof would add practicable. Later will come a new trim level sportier appearance, the R-Line.
