Today it has opened its doors to the SEMA Show Las Vegas, an event where reigns the tuning and the bold designs. But, what makes this Chevrolet Camaro RS 1970 there? A classic among modern vehicles, we think. However, this Camaro is something special, because it has been modified and now features a powerful V8 engine LT4 under his hood.
This engine is no other than the one used in the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. As we said this supercharged V8 of 6.2 liters will ‘fly’ to the Camaro, with nothing less than 650 horses of power and 880 Nm of torque. While the Corvette is associated to a manual gearbox seven speeds or one automatic eight-gear; in this case it has fitted a manual gearbox T-56 Super Magnum six-speed.
In this case, we have used a lubrication wet sump, although Chevrolet also offers the possibility to equip it with lubrication dry sump. But the changes are not limited to the mechanical. We have also modified suspensions, being the independent front and rear four-link. The steering is now rack and the brakes are the same as in the Corvette Z06.
In the (aesthetic highlights your body painted in metallic blue with two stripes that cross it longitudinally, white in color. This same pattern is repeated in the Camaro Hyper Concept with the poses. The alloy wheels are of 19 inch and the lights have been adapted to today with the addition of the LED technology.

In the interior there are also changes and now it has seats that are used in the third generation of the Camaro. The panel instrumentation is also new and has new gauges that are appropriate to their new mechanics. To finish we have included a roll cage six points to strengthen its rigidity and improve its security.
