At the beginning of 2015, Audi will introduce the second generation of its model supercar, the Audi R8. This second generation would come to our road to the end that same year, available in two different variants. The first Audi R8 was available with two different variants of power, a V8 4.2-liter and V10 5.2, delivering 430 and 525 HP, respectively. In the second generation we have the versions V10 and V10 Plus with identical mechanics V10 atmospheric though with powers of 540 and 610 HP.

To make more visible and be able to to really understand these differences between the two versions, Auto Express has conducted a drag race (drag race) with both vehicles and has put it on YouTube. In the video you can see visually the difference of those 70 HP in the same conditions at the end of a kilometre of pure acceleration. In him, we also see that the Audi R8 V10 it seems to accelerate better in the first few meters that the V10 Plus. However, they give better acceleration time for the V10 Plus
According to measurements of the medium, the V10 takes 3.5 seconds and the V10 Plus need 3 seconds to do the 0 to 60 mph (0 to 98 km/h). According to the images, the least powerful, takes less time to cover that acceleration so that, perhaps, the middle Auto Express has conducted a number of times the test drag on with both and the decision recorded and published has not been the most successful. According to their measurements, the time it takes to cover the first 1,000 meters is 20.5 seconds for the Audi R8 V10 and 19.9 for the V10 Plus.
