This Porsche 911 Turbo Flachbau sedan is a heresy very expensive and desired

Who the hell would be willing to take a Porsche 911 without one of its most desired features, his eyes bulging? In August 1993, the generation Porsche 964 faced his final throes. The Porsche 911 still had one of its most highly appreciated features, a front with two huge lumps on the mode of extension of the fins leading to round headlights. That front would be eased with time. But already in that year in Porsche had an idea, to soften the front and create a special edition, and very exclusive, that would be known as the Porsche 964 Turbo “Flachbau”, translated to Spanish would be “snub nose”.

By then, only built 76 units, based on the Porsche 911 Turbo (964). Its aesthetic was inspired in large measure on the front of the Porsche 968, with a bumper very simple, fins and hood softened, and round headlights.

What is curious is that, by its exclusivity, these units are very highly valued. For example, one of the last Porsche 911 (964) Flachbau auctioned of which we are aware, the Jerry Seinfeld, exceeded a million of dollars, staying in almost 900,000 euros. You can count on the fingers of one hand the series of the Porsche 911, on the street, that they reach those figures.

This gem just has walked 630 miles, a little more than 1,000 kilometers, since during the last two decades has been kept in a private collection.

This unit also counts with the preparation of motor X88, with a block of six cylinders in the disposal boxer, 3.6-liter, 385 horsepower, and turbo, of course. How much will the auction?
