Two days of test of the Pirelli rain in Paul Ricard with McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull

The circuit Paul Ricard will host two days of test of rain tires from Pirelli the next 25 and 26 January, as confirmed by the supplier Italian. Only three teams will participate in these tests, which will be open to the media: McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari.

In these two days, we only tested the rain tires and not the intermediate, Pirelli wants to get evidence of the performance of the insulators that are required to bring the cars in case of plenty of water, especially to know whether they are sufficiently useful in case of heavy rainfall. The goal is to avoid images like the Grand Prix of the united States, when they had to postpone qualifying to Sunday because it was raining too much and even the tires blue, designed to evacuate 65 litres of water per second, provided assurances of security.

The alignments of the pilots of these test will be announced shortly, although it is expected that one of the insurance you do not will be is Fernando Alonso, since he himself through his twitter account confirmed 30 December that it would not get to work until the 1st of February.

I Want to wish you a happy 2016 everyone!! I will return on the 1st of February, to resume the information of the championship, preparation..#TwitterOff

it is Not clear whether we will see the cars of 2016, or an evolved version of the 2015, although it is expected that it is this last option, since the official test of pre-season Barcelona will not be held until the end of February.
