At 25, Brendon Hartley has played as test and reserve driver for different F1 teams such as Toro Rosso and Mercedes-AMG. It is also one of the Porsche factory pilots, having participated in last season’s FIA WEC at the controls of LMP1 , the Porsche 919 Hybrid. Porsche has just given the video starring Brendon, which shows how the 911 GT3 RS is dishevel in the test circuit Nardo, east of Italy, in a technical complex since 2012 is owned by Porsche and in which we have seen machines like the Bugatti Veyron beat their speed records.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the missing link between GT3 racing and street 911.
In first person, Brendon not only shows how the fleet of Porsche rests in the parking Weissach with a foot of snow, but also a workshop in which we are different beasts competition, including the Porsche RS Spyder. To travel later to Italy and show us what you can do in this beast called Porsche 911 GT3 RS , a sporty street circuit in which we find an unprecedented functionality both Brendon and for us, that until the Geneva Motor never had seen in a sports production, button Pit Speed to limit the speed in steps by boxes.
Do not be the slightest doubt that this is the real missing link between GT3 racing and street 911.
