Volkswagen e-up! 2017, the little electric is also premiering 'restyling'

The Volkswagen up! 2016 recently premiered a ‘restyling’ that incorporates interesting features: beyond a design subtly touched up, the novelty of the LED daytime running lights in your front and a multimedia system with an extended connectivity, highlights especially your new engine 1.0 TSI with turbocharging and 90 HP.

This renewal of the small urban German is already available at dealerships, with prices that start from 11.910 euros. A few months later, made official the renewal of the Volkswagen e-up!, which follows the path of his brothers of gasoline with small changes in their equipment and customization, although there are no changes in your electric motor.

The redesigned front bumper, a new rear diffuser, rear lights integrated side in their rearview mirrors, and LED daytime running lights are some of the changes present in the Volkswagen e-up! 2017, similar to the rest of the range model. There will be three new paintings available for your body, along with increased possibilities of connectivity with smartphones.

In the Volkswagen e-up! 2017 will be available on the team ‘Composition Phone’, hands-free calls and a dock installed on the dashboard: when you place the phone, the phone connects through bluetooth with the multimedia equipment of the vehicle, offering features such as GPS navigation.

Between the standard equipment for the new Up! electrical it keeps the climate control, leather steering wheel and emergency braking in city, adding new elements such as the rain sensor or the lighting ‘Coming home/Leaving home‘. The list of options complete equipment with details as the rear camera, multifunction steering wheel, or a port for fast charging your batteries.

Where there is no novelty whatsoever is in its mechanics: in spite of this, the Volkswagen e-up! 2017 will remain an interesting electric car for the city, with its engine of 60 kW (82 HP) and zero emissions, capable of delivering a maximum torque of 210 Nm. With a maximum speed limited to 130 km/h, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 13 seconds and has a range of up to 160 kilometers, thanks to their batteries of 18.7 kWh.

Still no prices for Spain nor the date of marketing, but we estimate that this will take place in the coming weeks. In Germany, the new Volkswagen e-up! maintains his previous price: 26.900 eur, which shall be in practice by some 4,000 euros less, thanks to the current grant from the German government for the purchase of electric vehicles.
