Although Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan not, in concept, a car sporting aspirations, the German brand has decided to give a little touch of spice through a new R-Line sports package . It is a two-stage package that may either encourage a sportier aesthetic finish, or feed this finish with a more agile and sporty calibration of different elements of the chassis.
The R-Line package for the Sportsvan is made up of new bumper , heel, plus new chrome accents on the grille and lower front bumper or some darkened taillights. The back is decorated, as usual, with a new diffuser and a chrome exhaust sight with a sportier look. The R-Line logos crown several places in the body.
Inside is a more dynamic environment thanks to sports seats finished in microfibre and engraved logo. Also hitting a pedals with stainless steel cover , new moldings, floor mats with contrasting edges and, again, the R-Line logo in different parts of the passenger compartment. The multimedia system also displays a specific R at startup.
If in addition to the aesthetic look for a more sporty handling, Volkswagen offers a additional R-Line package to the Golf Sportsvan already introduced changes to the chassis. It is a package that includes a sport suspension reduces the ride height by 15 mm, a new direction or a variable assistance on tinted rear windows. The choice between 4 sets of wheels between 17 and 18 inches also opens.
