Volkswagen has presented at the International Symposium of the Engine of Vienna which will be its new family of engines EA211 TSI evo of gasoline. The German group has presented a new four-cylinder engine 1.5 TSI in versions 130 and 150 HP that is the first member of this new range of engines that will come to the models from the Volkswagen Group this same 2016.
This engine is called to replace the 1.4 TSI 125 and 150 hp, and as expected, a better performance, lower intakes and emissions under are the main characteristics of the first of the engines EA211 TSI evo. Comparing it with the 1.4 TSI of 125 CV, Volkswagen promises a fuel consumption of gasoline up to 10% lower.

In fact, the maximum torque is obtained only up to 1,300 revolutions. The intercooler has also been relocated and is now larger, so that it can cool more and better the air that finally enter the engine.
