In Current Engine we have already had occasion, in the international presentation, get behind the wheel of the new Volvo S90 and V90. However, we have tested the mechanics of the most powerful, the T6 320 BHP for the petrol and D5 of 235 HP for the diesel, always associated to total traction and automatic change of eight-speed.
Of the hand of those same engines are the highest prices of the range of the Volvo S90 and V90, while the new Swedish model will 44.911 € if we take into account that the new diesel D3 150 CV will be the motorization of access, with the least level of power and the most economic price for the whole range.
The diesel engine D3-150 HP uses the same block 2.0 the new generation of engines Drive-E that use the D4 190 HP, and D5 of 235 HP. Of series this engine will be associated with the manual change of six speeds, although optionally one can opt for an automatic, also six relations.
The average consumption approved is only 4,3 litres per 100 in the manual versions (4,4 in automatic) and the issue between 113 and 115 grams of CO2, all versions of the S90 and V9 D3 are exempted from Registration Tax in Spain.
