The three Volvo S60 TC1 team Polestar Cyan Racing are
three vehicles quoted, until such point that may be one of the three cars
most desirable grill of the WTCC for the factory team that supports them.
However, the Swedish brand has decided to take things calmly and will not be
until the end of the month of February when it unveils its three official riders. Of
fact, Volvo Polestar Cyan Racing has confirmed that announced its ‘line up’
27 February at 14:00 hours during an event that will take place in the city
of Gothenburg, south of Sweden.
Polestar Cyan Racing, now in its second season as
official team Volvo’s with big aspirations. The growth suffered by the
project throughout 2016, an increase of two to three cars in the face of new
season and the natural evolution that is living the Volvo S60 TC1 placed
the formation in a privileged position, especially after the departure of Citroën
and Lada as manufacturers official. The mimbres of this project and the performance
that showed the S60 in the final stretch of last season exercise effect claim considerably.
In spite of this, four appear to be great candidates for
occupy the three Volvo S60 TC1. In this aspect, it would be really strange that Thed
Björk to be left out of the project after being the spearhead of the project
Swedish in their debut season and have actively participated in the
development of the S60 TC1 and in their subsequent successes. Fredrik Ekblom is susceptible
repeat with training Swedish, even though it has two rivals in weight as Nestor
Girolami and Yvan Muller. Both have tested the Volvo S60 TC1 under conditions very
different, but both have proved to be very fast.
